Dogs of yore - a virtual voyage through Bull Terrier history

Bloomsbury King, 1898 (Sherborne King x Bloomsbury Surprise). Bred by Harry Monk, which can be recognised as the producer of the desired erected tulip-ear after the legal prohibition against cropping in Britain. Monk also was liable for the creation of the 'down-face', through the breeding of Bloomsbury Charlwood which is considered as the foundation of the 'down-face' design.
