Verner's Tarquin, 1873 (Young Victor x Boyce's Puss) and Napper. Tarquin was later owned by the well-known artist Vero Kemball Shaw, artist and author of 'Illustrated book of the dog' (1881) and 'Encyclopedia of the kennel' (1913). Grandson of Old Victor.

Fred Dole's Maggie May, born in 1879 out of Kit, sired by Hinks' Prince. Hinks' Prince is supposed to be known as White Prince untill he became disqualified at a Northampton dogshow.

Bloomsbury King, 1898 (Sherborne King x Bloomsbury Surprise). Bred by Harry Monk, which can be recognised as the producer of the desired erected tulip-ear after the legal prohibition against cropping in Britain. Monk also was liable for the creation of the 'down-face', through the breeding of Bloomsbury Charlwood which is considered as the foundation of the 'down-face' design.
